Ok I thought I would start here first. Seeing as I have two rigs that are similar and I can't ride both at the same time one has to go.  I want something different. I was going to use this one to go North one more time, it is that good. But am changing my mind. I have plans

The Tug, a 2008 R1200GS with a 124000 Kilometres on the clock.. It is a US model so it is easy peasy with the GS911 to switch the ODO back to miles. Was bought new in Idaho, I am the second owner, I think. Should be easy to export.

The bike has a Diff and driveshaft from a 2010 GS and the Touratech Ceramic Clutch disc. I think the driveshaft blew up at just under a 100000 K. I installed the LBS Mono Rotor Leading link at 115000 K so it has hardly been used. We used Wilber front shocks on the front and a Touratech shock on the back. The rear shock was just serviced by Ted Porter. There are Givi side Paniers installed. I'll throw in the stock expandable side cases just to get rid of them. Only one fits. There are Numerous electrical mods with an ATV battery in a custom battery box installed between the tug and the tub. It currently is running relatively new Heidenau tires.

The car is a 2010? Ural body and frame I acquired in 2012 After much fussing around I had a usable rig in the fall of 2015. Brock Smith of the Late Side Effects from Kamloops BC built a custom Sub frame and modified the Ural frame and swing arm to except a BMW Rear wheel and have a linear adjuster custom mounted so I could adjust tilt remotely. The control switch and relay also doubles as a winch control which will be included. I had to fix the shock mount on the swing arm before it was powder coated and I re-purposed the front Touratech shock for the car shock. It was re-sprung after some back and forth with Jeff at Ted Porters.  I have removed the windshield and seat from the car so I can carry cargo but have both, they are included and they are easy to install. The frame of the tub and the subframe have also been powder coated. the bottom of the tub is rock guarded. The paint on the car is OK but shows the marks from use, so not perfect..

I do use this rig when I do use it. So same with the bike, it shows patina. There has been no crash damage.

The bike is fully serviced with all fluids and other important stuff just changed Comes with some spare bits. I would hop on this thing tomorrow and go to Tuk or Prudhoe Bay if the weather or powers that be would let me. If it doesn't sell I may just do that.

Anyways I thought I would start by asking 16000.00 USD I should probably ask more but this will put me in the ball park of what I want in Canadian dollars.

Oh, Brian......you could  just  ship this  rig to  Heidelberg,  Germany,  and store it at Knopf Tours, so that  you  and your  wife can fly into  Frankfurt,  the Knopf Tours van will  pick you up  at the  airport,  then get on a sidecar rig  you  know  and  trust, then see Europe.

You could  visit with  Ad Donkers at LBS Sidecars in the  Netherlands,  and visit  with Slackers in Northern  Spain.  Or....pal around  with my wife and I,  as we cruise  Europe.

Where was this a year ago?  Would have saved me a metric shed ton of work.

Nicely set up rig.
