Don, after you get the sidecar project done, and you have driven the completed rig for awhile, if you decide to change from that Ultimate seat to a RDL seat... Russell Day Long seat....let me know, as I can arrange a discount for you.

Don’t think I will change it out. I’ve ridden a few 300 mile days and rode to Kent’s place when he had his open house which was 600 that day. I very happy with this seat.
I’ve only had stock seats on every bike I have had except the Goldwing. The only stock seat that did get comfortable was my 1982 R65 after recovering with leather it was very firm. I’ve heard of riders going through a few custom seats before they got one that worked for them.

I agree with Jon, but let's give Don a chance to see if that Ultimate seat works for him.
Bottom line (pun intended) is that every BODY sits a little different, so if an Ultimate seat works for Don, then great, he got it for free (almost....he did have to buy a Goldwing to get that seat)
