I joined up a few months ago and have now just completed my combination build. It's a 1969 BSA Starfire rolling chassis fitted with a Suzuki DRZ400 engine (ex-CCM I believe) and completed with a Steib S501 sidecar. I've made all fittings myself, had the chair painted to match the bike at a local paintshop, and am very happy with the result.

Welcome aboard Ian, Wow very nice work, pretty cool that you fitted a suzuki motor into the BSA. How does it handle?

Looks beautiful.  I like all the attention to detail.  Really makes the rig stand out. 🤩

Hold my keyboard and watch this! 🙃

Thanks both. I didn't actually fit the engine, it was done before I bought the bike (as a solo). I'm getting older slowly (aren't we all) and am less confident about holding a solo up. This is probably perception rather than actuality but even so. I did consider a trike but as I already had the B'Zuki and ran a sidecar outfit (Norton 16H/Watsonian Avon) back in the 1970s thought I'd go in this direction.

As I've just managed to wrench my knee I haven't ridden it yet but I've been carefulabout sidecar wheel lead, toe-in and lean out so hopefully it'll be reasonable at least to start.
