I don't know if you can do it in 6 hours. When I came up to the rally in June, I took all secondary roads I don't think I hit 50 MPH more than 3 times on the whole trip 11 hours later I pull in. I might have had too many long stops. Glad it work out for you, good luck with your new hack. By the way do you happen to know whose windshield is on it.

Yeah, suspect a much longer ride .. and I checked my jeans .. no Iron Butt in there.  🙂

Once in the garage I'll check on the windshield.  Remind me..

'tis not....I mapped it out, and it is only a 6 hour drive, unless YOU have the need to stop at every Saltwater Taffy shop along the way.

And, the ironbutt will not be in your pants....it's in your heart, the desire to Just Do It....like the slogan for Nike.

And that windshield appears to be a National Cycle, possibly a Memphis Shades.

I am NOT at all suggesting that you have to do a (very short version of) an IronButt ride to get that Ural Tourist from Western Connecticut to central coastal area of Maine.....what I am telling you is it CAN easily be done, by very simply getting on the Ural, and driving.....do NOT stop for sit down meals, do NOT stop for visiting this or that, just drive that Ural from tank of gas to tank of gas, and in short order, you are home.

Frankly, by the time we are done with all this conversation about it, I would have had it home in Maine, and had an oil change done by now.

You do NOT want to make me get on a plane, fly to Hartford, kick that Ural Tourist in the rear trunk, and deliver it to Maine.... Evil
