A little puzzle.  I can get on the website fine with my phone and my desktop, but when I try to get on with the laptop I get sent to  a site that the anti-virus software says is blacklisted and disconnects.  Scanned for virus (Avast) put an exception in the firewall for sidecar.com and it still disconnects.  Just the laptop (Win 10) .  Desktop is fine (win 11).  Android works.  Same virus software for all three.  Otherwise the website is looking really good.

send an email to Jerry (admin@sidecar.com). Probably an artifact from something or another - Jerry can reset the IP address block on the server to let that device in unless there is a genuine threat.

@metalcarver - That is very curious. Good summary of the various devices. I'm curious about your statement, "... get sent to a site that the anti-virus software says is blacklisted." What site are you sent to? Does the URL change from sidecar.com? A screenshot might be helpful.

Another thing I would suggest, given the other devices work ok, is to delete your cookies. You can be selective and delete just those cookies that are related to the domain (sidecar.com) if you are up for that, otherwise just delete them all. Somehow your laptop is stuck on the domain and that is a possible explanation.

Thane suggested that I can reset any temporary blocks on your IP address, except all your devices share the common IP assigned from your ISP. So if one or two work ok then the third will not be separately identified and I wouldn't be able to see or fix that.

It is good for people to know and refresh on that point, that if you enter the wrong password the server will lock you out for 20 minutes. This keeps hackers from guessing many passwords trying to gain access to our members' accounts. But if you get locked out several times your IP might get permanently banned. That is not common but it is frustrating because it is not obvious to you what is going on. In that situation I can search for your IP and release the ban from the server.

Reply here if you like or follow up by email as Thane suggested.

I wish I had taken a screenshot  the first time because I just got on now with no problem.  But right after the site upgrade I tried logging in and the landing page came up.  It's when I clicked on log in that the screen went to the anti virus alert that I have been redirected to a site infected with ...  and the name of the site had "blacklist" in the name.

So as usual, I don't understand all I know...
