there is a meeting in this area sunday to set a calander up for mc events. there is so much going on in east oh. west pa. and north w.v. actually too much. beside hog,gwrra,abate and other mc groups having poker runs now you have vfws, animal shelters, masons, fire depts and everybodys 42nd cousin putting one on. there are too many to chose from, attendance is poor and no one is making any money.......fly
This is true Al, no doubt. Every weekend is 'pick and choose' for most active riders and /or rally goers. I think the idea that Bruce Stephen had a few years ago about havibng a sidecar gathering at Americade was a great one. This thing is still growing and he and the others are promotong the sport in a big way. This same thing could be doen at other rallies too. Cost? Not much..insurance is not an issue. organization is minimal comapred to doing a specific sidecar rally and if the peomoters could see a positive to it for them they may do a lot of the advertising as well. That type of thing is a win win for everyone. Plus..the big thing is people have fun.
