Recently got a great deal on a terraplane that is in like new condition. I would like to mount it to my 2005 Roadking. I have asked on the terraplane yahoo group for assistance and have recieved no response. All I am looking for is pictures of the mounts on a similar harley. I am reasonably sure I could fabricate them if not any advice is appreciated. Thanks, Tony

This is the only Terraplane rig I have any shots of that show 3 point mountings. I have mounted them with 4 mounts but not on late baggers.
For the RK a Motorvation subframe would be a good start having the bottom tube in line with the lower frame tube of the RK. The only problem with these is they don't want to clear speed bumps well.
The attached is not one of my sub-frames. The restored Vetter was mine.

The Taraplane used an odd three point mount where the lower mounting arms (pilons is what vetter called them) were not adjustable. We have all of the NOS Taraplane mounts and sell these for $150. They are missing bolts, instructions and look like they have been poorly stored since the early 1980's as they have, but hey, they are cheap.
As your bike had not been made when these sidecars were being made, there is not a vetter kit for your bike. We make a standard 100% bolt on 4 point mount for your bike $585 and we make a bolt on kit for the Vetter to convert it from 3 point not adjustable mounts to 4 point adjustable mounts $750. For your bike we also offer reverse for the transmission and have triple tree's to lower the steering effort with the sidecar.
