I see that a lot fo you run the AVON SIDECAR TRIPLE DUTY. The speed rating is only 75 mph. and I can for see times when one
would need/want to go over 75. No problem????

Like most SAE ratings the 75mph is not an absolute. There is a large safety factor involved. They are recommending not driving over 75 mph for sustained periods.

Thanks Lonnie,
The tire is listed as a tube type, can it be put on a cast rim without a tube??

It is designed to have a tube and as such, should have a tube.

for to end Jay's comment:
....as the bead is little different to the bead of tubeless tires and is not self sealing."
Remember that rims for tube tires and tubeless tires are different, and so are their tire beads.

Harley has been running beaded rims since the early 40s but until they started making mags you had to run tubes. I will stay with my tubless tires as I some times cruse at 80MPH.
