I just got a 2005 Suzuki S50 and noticed that in order to mount the universal mounts I would nee to remove parts to get to the frame. Has anyone mounted to a S50 and was it without a subframe? I will probably still proceed with disassembling.

In General universal type mounts are a bad idea, You end up with the shape of the frame dicating where the mounts go rather then putting them where they work best for proper triangluation. I would go with sub frames, much stronger, better triangluation and unlike frame clamps, they will not ship. While we do offer "universal" type mounts, I always say that "universal" means that they fit nothing universaly and are at best a good starting point, I would never and have never mounted a sidecar with 4 frame clamps.
