Β  Head light for the Black RGL tug was having issues.Β  Harley wants $900 plus for a head light. I not paying that for a light with 1 year warranty.

Decide to try aftermaket. $213 in my hand.

Installed it today. It has crescent shaped side lights built in. They are while when acting as running lights. Flash amber with turn signalsΒ  if you chose to wire them. Comes with a splitter to tap into normal turn signal harness. Only two wire you need to connect. every thing else prewired.

Β  Install is easy. Couple minor extra step compaired to factory.

Can't be seen from more than 50ft.Β  Two years ago I led a small group to the Black Hills for the Rally.Β  Friend behind me with a Street Glide and I couldn't see his headlight at all in my mirrors.Β  Remedied that at BHHD.Β  Money well spent and now EVERYONE can see his headlight!

@brstrΒ

I ride Road Glides. I doubt I would ever get on a Steer Glide again. Own 2 RGL now and have had 7 RG's.

Β  Another thing about this light. Built in turn signals. I was concerned that when wired with the factory turn signals Canbus may have a load issue.

They did not.

Β  At first I did not like the Amber crescent. One of those things I had to let sink in. They are only Amber when acting as a turn signal.

New windshield coming today some time. If it shows up outer faring will go back on. Then clean up ,saddle bags, side covers all go back on.

The white light on front of the sidecar is amazing it can be seen a mile away in day light.

Smitty, is the "new" windshield a Klock Werks windshield, from Mitchell, SD ????

I finally decided to replace the OEM windshield on the '15 Wing w/sidecar that I will be shipping to Europe in a couple months, and went with a Klock Werks Flare windshield, as I have had them many times in the past..and current..on other bikes.

"The white light on front of the sidecar is amazing it can be seen a mile away in day light."....are you going to put a YELLOW lens film over that bright white light. It would make Scott @sheath very happy if you had something yellow on your rig.

@miles-ladueΒ

No it is a factory RGL 14 inch. I am a bit strange the factory RGL shield is just what I want. Someone I know had a new one laying around. With shipping $80.

One I have had a crack near mounting hole I did not want to put it back on like that.

The Back RGL Tug was purchased used so I have been going over it looking for things I would rather deal with now. making a few mods to it.

I sort of do have almost yellow now.

My plan is back to all red lens LED lights on the black one. Looking at a couple cool front turn signals .
