Hello,

I have a velorex 562 that I am working on mounting to a gl1200 goldwing. I was looking for tips on where and how to attach the car to the bikes frame.

Are there kits available or it this a different on every bike situation.

Blessings,

Paul

You need a larger sidecar for the 1200 GL. We've mounted some 562's with added ballast weight, mounts and upgraded suspension to up to 1983 1100GLs but nothing later. The later GL's overwhelm them.
I know of no vendors who will make a sub-frame mount set for this application.
I'd suggest using the 562 for trading stock and investing in a larger car that would be a better (safer ) match for your GL or putting the 562 on a lighter weight cruiser bike.

Good advice from Hack'n. Hack'n (Lonnie Cook/ Nortwest Sidecars) has probably installed as many Velorex sidecars as about anyone in this country.
