I have been working on an article about laws and reguations for sidecar on a state by state basis. I have gone over this so many times that I'm sure I've missed things, typos etc. Download if you'd like for a handy reference and if you see a problem please. contact me

Kevin @Cozy1, once you get to know me, you will understand that I am really an "okay " guy, so....take this as meant politely:

There is no word "compliation"....as written in the title of your thread.

Yes, you did forewarn us that there might be "typos".

The word you wanted is : Compilation

And in your first line in the thread....add the missing L into the word : reguations, to make it: regulations.

Otherwise,  good job of putting this together.

I wish that the USA had the same regulations and certifications on Sidecars that most of Europe does, so that we would have better engineering and technical qualifications for adding a sidecar to a motorcycle,  as there are some scary rigs out there.

Thanks for the work you put into making this information come together.

Now, after having read every finite word of this attached document,  I have to ask: what about the  six missing States ?

Maine

New Hampshire

North Dakota

South Dakota

Oklahoma

Rhode Island

Im sensing that this might be a good thing to collaborate on and to add as a resource to an upcoming Sidecarist magazine, with ongoing updates on this website.

Thank you, Kevin for doing the heavy lifting!

@cozy-sidecars New Jersey: Universal helmet law. Strict
inspection rules for sidecar lights.

As a resident of New Jersey, motorcycles (including with sidecars) are exempt from any form of inspection since August 2010.

I'm sure you're a nice guy. Your feedback is invaluable and I will work on it today. I am not a detail oriendted person and I have gone blind working on this.

@cozy-sidecars If you need someone to proofread text, several of us are pretty good at that and can use some of our (ahem) free time.  Yes, I'm volunteering.
