I'll save you guys the trouble of doing the math.  That's 60.314159 mph.

Welcome home, Miles! clap

Almost...but funny. You stole my Pi joke, eh?

The actual number is: 60.76923076 mph. Or...a simple 60.8 mph

But, more importantly, do any of you know what driving speed it takes to average 60.8 mph over the course of 13 hours, given that there were 7 gas stops, which also included longer bathroom breaks...more than once ???

Historically an experienced Long Distance/Endurance rider can figure in an additional 10 to 15 mph...added into the averaged mph, to compensate for the fuel/bathroom/meal stops. In THIS case, with 7 gas/bathroom stops, it would be an added 15 mph of driving speed.

Ergo, and therefore (those are two friends of mine...Ergo is the older brother of Therefore)....my average driving speed was 75 mph.

Man, I am very glad to be home. One of the first things I told my wife...written in stone...this is my LAST long distance/endurance ride...PERIOD !

Awe come on Miles.  You'll be ready for another cross country ride soon.  It's just like birthing an extra large odometer.  You'll forget all about the pain.  Stretch marks may be a different story. 😯

Hold my keyboard and watch this! 🙃

I know it's not planned to be an actual rally but rather a gathering this year.  Is there a date planned for the 2025 gathering?

I am all for it and I know some of the other Colorado folks are interested for the 4th through the 7th.

It’s a nice ride from New Mexico. Would be there.

A little after the fact, but I had a good conversation with Swede from the Circuit Riders CMA chapter after our CMA presentation at our church in Broken Bow today.  His daughter and family attend here and he was up to visit them. He noticed my Flint Hills Rally patch and reminisced about giving the Sunday services and running the bike games.
