BMW with Hannigan in AZ

Looks like a heck of a good buy to me. I bet it won't be on the market long at all. I didn't see if or where he mentioned how many miles on the odo....

Tom R,
That was a good call on your part. It has sold as my eldest son, Jonathan, is the proud owner of his first BMW outfit with a Hannigan Hack. He has been gaining experience on his Ural the past eight months. This will be a good stepping stone for him and my granddaughters. The milage is under 54,000 miles. From what I know this gentleman was the second owner and bought it from a gent in Wisconsin.
Big Tom,
Thanks for the heads up!
I believe you unknowingly helped hook another generation of sidecar enthusiasts into the three wheel world. Good on you!
Thanks
Dave

Congrats! Put a new saddle on it and it's ready for the National Rally!
I'm guessing that front tire (either at BT45 or a BT46) is size 140/70-17 which is why the mudguard has been removed. But, if it's a 130/70-17 you might be able to fit that mudguard if you get clever with some standoffs that will lift the mudguard up a bit.
Gonna post a pic before the ad gets taken down.

Dave,
Makes me happy to see that your son got it first. Also makes me glad that this "From around the internet page" was started.
I'll keep posting them as I see them..... I hope to see that Red rig on the road out here.
Tom

Congratulations on your son getting what looks like a great rig!
Hold my keyboard and watch this! 🙃

Ned,
The keen eye as usual. I'll post better photos when I get them.
Tom,
Thanks again for posting. Ya know many folks here have posted internet finds, Davefran, Miles, being a couple of gents that come to mind. Of coarse many others too that currently aloud my CRS mind. You just never know how or where a simple gesture, such as posting an outfit for sale, will lead to. Potentially change the trajectory of a sidecarist wants/needs, or better yet a conversion from 2 wheels to three. Insert thumbs up...
Scott,
Keep an eye out for this rig on the highways and byways in your neck of the woods as Jonathan lives only a few hours from you.

Dave Brakebill, you probably already know that the seat on that R1150Rt is a RDL seat, a Russell Day Long seat, and...sadly they had it covered in leather...which I always try to talk people out of the leather covering, for exactly the reasons you can see in the pictures.
BUT....(pun intended)....what you may not know is that "IF" your Son wanted to get that seat recovered, RDL will recover that seat (if they don't have to rebuild the internal suspension system within the seat), for a much lower price than you might think. If all it takes is a new sewn cover, they can do that rather inexpensively.
I happen to be riding down to RDL seats a week from today, to have my 17 th seat made for me, in person, so I will ask Jay in the office, and show him pictures of that bike and seat....and will report back to you.
