2008 Honda Gold Wing with Hannigan - $16,000 (Wood River IL)

Low miles (for a Goldwing) 44k
A Flying Monkeys favorite
I've never seen a seat like that! Having previously owned that same model Hannigan, getting in and out requires some agility. That seat would be a game changer for a less vigorous monkee. Looks like a really great rig and $16k is totally OK with those low miles. Somebody needs to grab that up.
I agree.

Karen finds the most difficult piece in the exit from the car. She has to turn around, get a knee on the seat, then stand up. There is no way to help out of the car so it's always a bit of a show. I do agree that a higher seat would make a difference, though her head would be up against the top panel if the seat were any higher.
Getting in isn't much of an issue.
Illegitemi non carborundum est!
If I read that ad correctly that seat is electrically adjustable. Prolly drops down for cruising.
What level is your Goldwing? I'm looking for the Naviflgation with XM Radio options.
Thank you,

Randy in Florida, I can tell you that the 2008 Goldwing pictured above does not have the Honda NAV package., as can see in the pictures that it is not on that bike.
But......I can tell you that 93.14159 percent of all Honda Goldwings with the 2006 - 2017 Navigation system......the riders chose to have a Garmin Zumo mounted on the left side of the handlebar area, simply because the factory supplied Honda Navigation system did not allow the rider to perform a lot of the necessary functions of the NAV system whilst in motion. The rider would have to bring the bike to a complete stop, enter the necessary steps, then get back on the road.
The 2018 and newer Goldwings have a slightly better, more user friendly NAV system, where more functions can be performed whilst in motion, but still not as good as a Garmin Zumo GPS.

Just to be clear this rig is not mine. This subforum is for rigs found on popular ad sites. The Goldwing was on CL and the ad is no longer up.
I was a really nice rig though
The 2013 that's also listed in this subforum is still for sale. More expensive but newer and more tricked out.

I am always disappointed that the people advertising their 2006 and newer Honda Goldwings don't include what Level of Wing it is....Level 1 thru Level 5.
A very few of them do, by way of telling us it has this, or has that, so I can discern what Level that is, by the factory equipment onboard the bike.
But here is a case, a person is selling a 2013 Wing, with Hannigan sidecar, for $ 33,000.00, and can't THINK to mention if it has Heated grips, or Heated seat, or Navigation system, or ABS brakes, or the Airbag.
Frankly, it is my opinion that this 2013 Wing w/Hannigan sidecar is grossly overpriced....but....that would be for the prospective buyer to decide.

FYI, there was a workaround for this "use while in motion problem". While not safe or recommended, if you put the bike in neutral while riding in a straight line then turned the ignition off till the display went dark then turned to ACC you could start the bikes GPS.
This was useful if you failed to restart the GPS after a fuel stop as many failed to do.
