i had never heard of these before, but there are TWO for sale on e-bay right now. looks like the passenger enters from the rear,as there is no hatch and a wraparound windshield.one of these looked to be in good condition. kind of a unique looking ride.

i just went back to e-bay and couldn't find them either.i guess the auctions must have ended.it just seemed wierd to see two of them at the same time for sale, one looked pretty good, the other was rough, current bid when i looked was 100 dollers, wonder if they sold or just ran out of time.

We have done a couple of these sidecars, Odd sidecar, You get into them by steping over the back of the sidecar. Always thought they looked a bit like a hot tub.

that a can of fiberglass and a welder can make happen

Try the spelling of Zephyr .... that is how I have seen it spelled in the past. I actually have ridden in one........ 1994, interesting to get into and out of, but neat, comfortable when you are in it... you actually do climb into and down into it. Then you have to climb back out and down...

I looked it up on the www as Zephyr sidecars and came up with all kinds of Zephyr references ......... mostly motorcycles.......Found
www.ComparisonWarehouse which had a search already set for Sidecars, that was interesting...some neat stuff there!

I have Back Issue Vol. 3 #2. The Front cover is a Zephyr sidecar... in B.C. at the Bigfoot rally. Single copy $7.00 or 3 back issues for $15.00.

You might want to check out the Back Issue Listing at www.hackd.com.

Vernon! Do you remember Mike Phillips, in Ptld. area. He is no longer alive, but he had a gold one.......... I have no idea what happened to it when he passed.

I just seen your post here is what I know about the zepher sidecar they where built by a boat builder in Richmond CA. in the 70s they where big the worst mounting hardware I ever tried to work with great to sleep in when the seat was removed.I had one on a /2 BMW I did make a windshield for it.The thing was tough I had it for 10 years .It lasted through 4 children and dogs.My biggest complaint was that the mountting was on the sidecar frame was flimsy

Don't recall ever seeing one in person. Looks like a good candidate for a flip front conversion.

What exactly do you mean by a Flip front conversion? I have one of these Zephyr rigs on an 82 R100RT. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
