Now that the sun is finally here in Portland (at least for a while), I'm doing all errands, etc on the rig. It still amazes me that I can ride 37 miles and never leave the metro area!

Rob you probably already heard but the Washington monument reopend a few weeks ago. If you pass near the Eastern Panhandle of WV on rt 50 , rt 7 , rt 522 , I-81 , I-70 thats right close
Yep, I read that too. I was raised in Arlington so we will have a little time to see old friends and some of the sites.
When I was growing there you paid 10 cents to ride the elevator up or walk up using the steps for free. As kids we walked up and read all the panels that were carved in the walls.

I was up on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
My latest little Red Rocket. Sweet SL-220 sidecar on an 1100 BMW with Ferrari badges to upset some of the Germans.
Good to see you posting again, Mr. Sweet. Beautiful rig. I was raised in Asheville, NC and am familiar with the Parkway. And your comment, 'In coach building' is spot on.

Hugh & I rode over to the "Feed Trough" near Lake Murvaul in NE Texas for a Greet & Eat with some Two Wheel Texans yesterday evening - forgot to take a pic tho.

Took a ride into Savanna with a bunch of others here at national rally. J.R. Tex Rep
I was wondering if your group ran into these two. Mike was painting his new Sweet sidecar this week to match the bike and it should be out on the roads. He lives in
Savanna. Annie, Mikes service dog took to the sidecar instantly and Mikes been running it around Savanna for a few weeks.

TxArt & Rosa stopped by to pick up the XL883R/Ranger rig:
to deliver to our new sidecarist, their daughter Paula in the DFW area:
And I hear Dad did survive the first ride around the block (by the way, this was not Paula's first time to pilot a sidecar rig):
Is was a little sad to see our first rig (and my dog Maddie's favorite) leave, but it's found a great new home.
Here's to lots of father/daughter adventures and good times.

Thank you so much. Looking forward to new memories and friends this bike will bring 🙂
Harold and Doris and Joan and I took advantage of a very nice day and rode 75+ miles for Mexican lunch in Spearfish. We rode three canyons Spearfish Canyon on the way to lunch and Bolder, and Vanocker Canyon coming home for a total mileage of around 160 miles. We made it home in time to get rained on. Joan and I pulled into the garage and it started to pour. We got nearly a half inch of rain in the next hour. I wish we had taken a camera to record some of the sights to share.

Hi Will,
Have you ever crossed paths with Ray Tysdal there in Rapid? He's a long time friend.
Yesterday Petey and I rode into Spokane for a Rollin' coal cancer benefit run. It was actually for diesel pickups but we got invited by the lady who was spearheading the whole shebang. We had the only motorcycle there, let alone the sidecar. It was a successful event but we left early because Petey was not being very sociable with the other dogs present.
Hi Tom:
Ray and I have not yet crossed paths. We have only been here for 7 years. In that time we have met what feels like half of the other half of South Dakota. Ray must be a part of the other half. Is Ray a sidecarist?
