I am trying to find a shipper to ship my outfit from Van Nuys (sidestrider) back to Las Cruces, NM (or El Paso, TX). Does anyone know a good shipper that does that, or anyone can do the hauling for me?

We use Daily Direct. 1-888-Haulbike No crating or palletizing, no draining of fluids, you just roll it on to the lift tailgate and they do the rest. Door to door delivery.
We just shipped one to D/FTW area and we're presently waiting for them to pickup another outfit going to D/FTW.

Allied has a motorcycle division. The AMA has several folks they recommend or that advetise in their magazine. I personally just had a sidecar shipped from Chicago by Eagle One Express. Their only business is MCs, pretty much a flat rate anywhere in the country (I think it was about $700). They seem to have the hugest truck on the planet, so getting to small streets can be problematic. Timeframe delivery only. Otherwise great folks- I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

Drop me an e-mail. I have an open car hauler, Just delivered a Ural to Detroit last weekend. I am a sidecar owner and rider as well as trucker and care for others as I would my own. Looks like I may be in Los Angeles area this weekend or first of week.

I have used daily direct and a company called "magic carpet"! Daily Direct does great job of Hauling the bike, but not very good at giving you a real pick up date or drop off date. I gave them a week window for pickup and they missed the date...since they had my money, there wasn't anything I could do about it! Their reply was: we don't guarantee pick up dates. But they gave me a "window" which they missed. They gave me the 1 week window, but the bike was schedule to be shipped the week before Sturgis and I was told by one of the reps that it was not picked up because of that!!! We will deliver the bike EVENTUALLY was basically what I was told. They were also Expensive, but the bike did get here in one piece and the driver was a real pro!! SUMMARY: If you aren't in a hurry and you don't mind paying extra, they are OK and your bike will be treated well. It took 3 weeks to get my bike once they picked it up.....2 weeks late, for a total of 5 weeks. Daily Direct has first class drivers and Equipment, thier customer service is a little sketchy IN MY OPINION! I refused to use them a second time.

Magic Carpet: They are a "jobber/subcontractor". This company wanted to haul my Gold Wing in a open trailer.....I requested a closed rig, it was only a few bucks more. They picked the bike up when promised and delivered when promised. They were also about $100 bucks cheaper. They picked the bike up 4 days after I put in my order on a Thursday and it was at it's destination the following Monday!

Just my opinion!
