On Sept 5th, I'm starting an adventure down the Pacific Coast Highway.
I've bought a Honda/CA sidecar rig in WA. I'm planning on picking it up and driving it down to Griffin Park Rally.
I've been to Doug Bingham's Rally before.....it's fantastic.
Jay Leno has a "new" old sidecar rig.......maybe he'll bring it.

Purchase was to take the trip.

Anyone else going down the Coast?

You missed a lot in Washington and Oregon by taking the slab and catching the beauty Hiway 101.
Maybe some other time.

You've seen lot of high desert going that way, the PCH will be a good break.

How's the rig running?

My Rig is running really good.....no complaints.
It's gearing is very good.....easy to keep in the power range....
The twisties have been many...many...many....but with care I'm engaging them.
The cloud cover on the PCH is somewhat of a relief....

PCH - good choice for scenery and mindful riding. 🙂
Ride safe.. See ya at the Rally.
Gail

p.s. There is a a nice pull-out to view the Elephant Seals about 7 miles north of San Simeon. Watch for cars pulling out.
Additional NOTE: Gorda makes the news for the highest gas prices in the state, and it appears that they are proud of it. 🙂
