Well Sam became a sidecar pup yesterday we went for a 6 or 7 mile ride, that got his sniffer working =) He actually laid down for a bit so a success i think.

Ready for Saturday morning ride with an overnite camping stop somewhere or other, then pitch the tent at Texas Sidecars Sunday evening. Needless to say i am looking forward to it.

Hello Jon, my TSC Ranger model rig is being delivered to me on Monday, and I just had my first training/learning session with Kent there in Donie yesterday. Man, I am looking forward to riding this thing. It's also good to see you as a resource on this forum as I expect I will have questions.

@webmaster Hi Jerry,

little by little discovering how this forum works, who is who.....I like the ergonomic and design, but it takes times to learn!

I have been reading here and there posts from Sidecarusa but was unable to catch who he was, this post explain a lot thank to Dane.

As you know I want to organize my trip to the states, however, I have to start from zero, I have never been there 😊. I have some background in english because in another life I used to cross the channel often, for studying the language, going to motorcycle events and had a lot of friends there. I also went to Australia and New zealand while living in New Caledonia for several years. My point here comes to the fact that dispite all these good people speakes (nearly... lol) the same language, they are very diferent, not really an easy task to understand the way they will react when interacting with a french, you know, from a history point of view things have not been a long peaceful river!

This statement applies for the Americain people off course, but in this case it's a bit more tricky. That will be the "latin factor" as the guys like to label it, I do manage this in ecuador more or less easily after 30 years here, but I must reconize that it is not simple. Just to give you an idea, until nowadays for many people I am "el gringo", and when I explain that I am french the answer is generally not so friendly. My wife is ecuadorian, I acquire the citizenship and our kids have both citizenship.

Back to my project, as a retired mechanic I know how to manage a worshop and the people in there have always been good friends in every country I have been. I understand ,(may be wrong), that Jon now owns his proper buisness, and I wonder if it would possible to work with him?

Thank you in advance for any input about this idea and sorry for the lengthy post.....

Cheers

Arno
