Newest toy in my family's series of hand-me-downs; youngest of 3 riding brothers I end up with the coolest toys!

Cool rig. That sidecar would look good on my 72 Yamaha,,,, if I ever finish it,,,lol.

Decorated for Christmas riding, at my local South Berkeley Christmas Parade, Inwood WV. Second one is by a professional photographer during the parade

Given the weather we have had in The Great Pacific NorthWET, I decided to put my rig inside my shop, and do a few things to it.

Time for a 30,000 miles service, which is nothing more than a complete oil & Filter change, including the DCT filter, and the Rear Diff Fluid.

Life is hard on us olde-timers, so making it easier with the rig 6' up in the air...no laying on cold concrete floors for this olde man.

It looks like posting videos here is not possible.

Here's a few pics of my latest project.

The windscreen is a lot thicker than I thought, about 1/4" thick and polished up like new. The old woman has ordered black vinyl to make seat covers and line the inside of the tub.Β  Β  The old Dunlop tyre was Donald ducked. I had trouble sourcing another as it's an odd size but found one eventually. I need to do a few repairs to the sidecar body, but fiberglass is not hard to work with.Β  Β The mudguard is sheet metal.

I'm dead pleased with this sidecar, I was lucky to get it.Β  Β It's perfect for my BSA, needs a coat of paint though.Β  Β It's a lot lighter than I imagined.Β  Β I called Watsonian ( they are still in business ) about getting another brake cable, but they told me stopped making sidecars with brakes over 50 years ago.Β  Β

To stack....or Not to stack...that is thee question ?

Just having a little fun, wondering "IF" it was possible, not plausible, but possible to stack the sidecar rig on top of our Mini Cooper Clubman ???

Apparently, the answer is NO. Just won't line up right, and the width of the sidecar rig wheel track is wider than the roof of the Clubman.

Aha....maybe the solution to this problem is to reverse the stack...put the Mini Cooper Clubman on TOP of the sidecar rig.

Hmmmm.......

It all looks very posh, but if you can afford that why not just buy another building to store your toys ?

@Mick Boon, at my place, a ranch in the foothills, I can store 20+ sidecar rigs out of the weather, in fully covered garages, some of them heated garages.

My sidecar rig seen in the pictures, has its' own garage, heated, plugged into a battery tender, and tucked away with a blanket or two on it.

I'll bet that @64deville has a lot more motorcycle/sidecar storage that what he shows in those pictures of his shop.
