Pups in Tubs

Glad you started this thread. When I did a search, the newest I could find was six years old. So this is great timing! 🙂
Adele (Super-Muttress) is an 11 year old German Shorthair Pointer (GSP), and just starting her time as a monkey. She's very laid back, and biddable. We've been doing goggle training, and some short fun rides getting her ready for next years camp-out adventures. She is right at the AKC minimum standards for size, and fits the sidecar perfect (old Dneper). next rig will have a larger cockpit, as eventually there will be another GSD in our life. 🙂
Added a panel to cover the door opening for a bit of security, and fastened the leash to come up from the seat mount in the floor, so in case of accident or sudden swerve, she stays in the tub.
Pictures are: * Super-Mutress ensuring the tub fits her needs. *Fighting off nap time on the way back from Pup-Cup Haven. *Goggle training on a willing monkey. * Her best impression of "Kilroy Was Here."

As of 1o days ago I have new riders. We went to pick up a 8 week old Pomeranian. After Payton's dog dies a while back we felt it was time she would she the new puppy as a new dog and not Summer.
We have a family member that is a Large animal vet but he oversees a couple of breeders. He hooked us up.
We drove over to pick the Pup up. As you will see in the picture sometime did not go as planned.
Meet April and Prince. They will be riding.

Similar thing happened a couple of years ago with one of our sidecaring families down this way.
Looking forward to stories and pics.

Miles and I went for her first ride in the sidecar wearing Rex Specs. She did well with them. The lens however did not do so well. lol
The windscreen frame of the sidecar scratched the heck out of the lens, and there are a few new scratches on the windscreen lexan. Will get a new lens for the Rex Specs, and try a ride without the windscreen. She likes looking around the screen, and we don't need to travel faster than 45mph. Hopefully that works. "Paws crossed."

Miss Miles & I took a ride up into the Uinta Mountains to go for a hike today. About 40 miles of street riding, and another 30 or so on a well worn forest service road.
Took the windshield off for this ride, and it seems like she enjoyed the ride a lot more. She could stand in the center of the seat and get a good view all around.
Only meant to hike for a few hours, but about the middle of that she decided to chase a deer, and I spent a good 2 hours tracking her down. Before the next hike, she is getting a GPS collar... Attached to a drone that snatches her up, and brings her back... lol I'm wiped out. She was almost Coyote food. The little knucklehead.

Scott I take the windscreen off the Ural Lacey still hang her head out the side of the tub
