Well it is finally on the road. I have been working on this project for about 4 months. Have been collecting parts for approximately two years.
Tug - 98 BMW R1100r
Tub - Hannigan Astro Sport
Modifications - automotive rear tire from Claude Stanley -steering mod from DMC - tub mods of raised top, side windows and curtains by me
Changed spring on sidecar to 200/350 - still waiting on new custom Hagon shocks.
Hope the pic comes through 🙂

Thanks, trying to improve on previous rig, however that will be hard. Have put about 25000 on Vulcan/Hannigan rig and have been very pleased. Did not modify steering so it was a handful in the twisties, but a great highway rig.

Nice work draperg1. I suspect you will certainly appreciate the modified steering.

Did not have any head shake but put damper on because it felt too easy, probably because i was used to other rig

Think of the steering damper as life insurance.

I replaced the stock steering damper with an adjustable universal one and it was all i needed.(Shindy was the brand) Have since installed a 3.36 final drive from an r850r and is was a huge improvement as were the Hagon shocks. Ready for spring and some camping!

Thanks for the kind words. Took a good ride yesterday with my monkey and got a favorable report (the only one that counts by the way) Once I get the auxiliary gas tank installed I will be ready for a long ride.. Some good weather would be nice too! 🙂
