New Guy
Been riding since the early 60's, but am new to sidecars and to this site.
I am near Pittsburgh, PA
Only about 400 miles so far with sidecar. We love it.
My 2010 Road King Classic and Liberty Side car, with my wife Vickie, puppy Jax and me.

Yes Jay, K3ZXV since 1963. Are you going to put a rig in the side car?
73s to you both.
Yes I am Bill.
Maybe a dual band mobile. Just need a good place for an antenna.
May come in handy sometime.
Jay
What a great looking outfit, wonder if Liberty make a sidecar for the left side of the bike?
I think that would look great running through Australia with a Harley on the side.
Lee, I've noticed a few spelling anomalies between The USA and Australia. The one that always get me is JAIL, in Australia we spell it GAOL.
Sean.
Pete sells a lot of Libertys in asia. They are very popular in Japan where lefties are the rule.

Great looking rig. Been thinking 'bout a Liberty for my Electraglide. You like so far?
Whadya like? Not like?
Thanks for the compliment.
There is nothing I do not like about the sidecar.
Liberty builds a quality sidecar. I will use them again if I ever need another.
Everyone that has seen it, and knows sidecars agrees.
I have the 5° triple trees on the front end, and steering is easy.
The ride is very smooth. We take our 15 month old PomChe Jax with us, and he sleeps.
I do not want to ride anything but this thing now.
Took about 100 miles to get used to steering rather than leaning, but is easy now.
I keep 15 gallons of water in collapsible water jugs on board when I go solo.
The water at about 8 lbs. a gallon, keeps me from flying the chair.
Good luck with your decision.
Jay
thanks for sharing your new-found wisdom.
Didja ship your rig to Seattle and back? Or pick it up there?
Did Pete install your triple tree?
I'm thinking of shipping the bike there, and maybe riding it back.
Not sure about that part, may hafta have it shipped back.
Jay,
Three bags of lead shot under the seat will keep all three wheels on the ground and they don't take up trunk space (won't freeze and break in the winter either).
Tom,
Pete will install his 5 degree trees if you wish and you can use the stock H-D damper mount (if your bike has one) for a spotlight mount. You won't need it anymore.
Be prepared for a long wait if you order. They're taking the market slot that Harley gave up on to make Trikes for the Baby Boomers.

No, I had the Sidecar shipped here to a local indy.
I had Pete paint and ship it ready to install.
Paint matches perfect.
I ordered it in July of 2010, and it was shipped in November 2010.
They take around 16 weeks to complete.
Indy installed triple trees, and set everything up.
Bike only had 58.15 hp and 74.42 ft-lbs of torque, stock.
By changing the whole exhaust system, installing V.H Monster ovals, a Big Sucker air cleaner, and pc5 MAP1
we were able to get 69.68 hp and 81.81 ft-lbs of torque. This all occurs between 3,000 and 4,000 RPM.
I also had a reverse gear added.
