Sweet work on the car!

My tug is a V-Star 1100 and although I haven't yet modded the triple trees there are raked trees available through both Side Effects in Canada and Seegar Cycles in Ohio. Both sell for around $895 but Side Effects (Steerite) mods your trees and Seegar sells outright. Trees for 3, 5 and 7 degrees are available from Seegar. I'm trying to save enough for the 5 degree tree from Seegar which reduces the trail by 2" leaving 3" of trail which is about right for sidecar use.

The V-Star 1100 has a nice smooth power curve with plenty of power for sidecar use and would require less modification of your mounts.

My Hannigan Classic weighs about 160 lbs . I often carry 200+ pound [passengers with plenty of power left.

You might contact Vernon Wade (RedMenace) about the Bandit. When I took his class last Oct, one of the rigs was a 1200 Bandit.

Since it was my first sidecar experience there was too much going on for me to really notice the differences between it and the other hacks so I can't contribute much more.
