Does any one have a Liberty sidecar rig within 100 miles from Chicago IL?
I would like to ask if I can come by and take pictures on how the brackets and frame are mounted to the motorcycle.

The Liberty is made for a Harley.
I have an Indian and wish to assemble the Liberty to it.
Am wondering what is required to adapt the Liberty to the Indian frame.
Pete advised that he doesn't make hardware to connect his sidecar to an Indian.

Thanks for any comment.
Jay.

I have a liberty sidecar on a 2005 Electra Glide. I live Channahon (South by Joliet). I will be away until Jan 2, but your welcome to come and look after that. Just in case you're in a hurry l posted some images of the brackets etc today. I have the body off for paint so you'll just see the frame work. If you want to see it first hand after the 2nd, my cell is 708-476-8442.

Image 1715 is just an overall shot, 1714 l(ower rear) The original swing arm pivot bushing plate is replaced with a new one, 1713 (seat area- requires tig welding a small bracket in place), 1711 (seat area), 1710 (upper front), 1719 (lowerfront), 1708 -l(ower front)

I could be wrong but I belive the brackets are all HD parts except for the one that is welded on.

sorry for the image quality...but it's cold in the garage and the floresent lights were not starting

We have mounted Liberty sidecars using our mounts in the past. We no longer make any Indain mounts but can get them for you for some Indians.

Many many thanks to Tom, Mark amd Jay for providing pictures and information regarding my winter quest and project. I'm confident that their information will get me in the right direction.

I'm impressed and appreciative of the information given to me from USCA members regarding our mutual passion of sidecars. Kudos to Joyce for her enthusiastic perseverance and dedication in upholding our interest.

Happy New Year everyone.
Jay.
