I had hoped to take my rig out camping last year, but never made it. So, I made certain to clear my calendar this year. I loaded down the bike with everything I thought I might need for weathering the cold in a tent. It was overkill, but I was glad to have the carrying capacity just in case.

My first camping trip with my hack on was in Nov. but only got down to 40 degrees at night and I did not have a heater. On January 18th I will be going to the mountains camping one my rig and it will be much colder. Yes I will be taking a heater for my tent this time.
