It's somebody's Birthday

Before you post a reply, please read the entire post here...

Today....October 21st...it the Birthday of our Beloved President of the United Sidecar Association...Thane Lewis.

I want to wish him a pleasant day, filled with hope.

Please keep in mind that it was only 16 days ago that Thane lost his beloved wife of 26 years, Karen.  

With that in mind, I believe it would be inappropriate for any of us to wish him a "happy" Birthday.

The man, a High School Science Teacher, has his hands full, a lot going on, but our Birthday wishes for him can at least remind him that we are thinking of him, that we care, that he is not alone, (despite him having Maddie...da dawg still with him).

THANE, my friend, I hope today is better than yesterday, that today brings you a small spark of hopefulness, that today Maddie won't bite you  , and that today is a reminder that you are not alone, that you have many, many friends that care for you, and about you.
