Well, I am sure I am not the first to put a sidecar on a bobber, but I haven't yet seen any. I guess for the purists it technically isn't a bobber because it isn't stretched and it isn't a hard tail, but it has the look I like and a smooth ride to boot. The bike is a 2002 650 Yamaha V-Star and the sidecar is a 1993 Velorex 562. I did the paint myself and completely overhauled the Velorex. This is the third sidecar I have set up and I must be getting better because the ride is very good and although I only have less than 50 mile on it I don't think I'm going to have to tweak it much from my original set up. I like the way it turned out, but let me know what you folks think because I'm always open to suggestions for improvements.

Very nice!
Only thing I'd add would be a ~ 1" tinted windshield for the sidecar.

Enjoy!

I'd call it a bobber. I think the two pieces look great together. The lines seem to flow from every angle..

So far, it handles very well. No bad manners to speak of. There are certain low speed regimes where if you were to release the bars you would get a tank slapper going, but it is completely unnoticeable if you keep your hands on the bars. I have it set up to be comfortable with the sidecar relatively empty since 98% of my riding is with an empty or lightly loaded hack. I did have my first passenger on board a couple of days ago with only a slight pull due to the added weight. The 650 V-Stars are geared well for pulling the added weight of a sidecar, but they do tend to rev pretty high at highway speeds. All in all it is a very comfortable rig so far.
