I want to be able to afford a platform and two-wheelers, but in my situation can not afford both.

bill_powell - 5/23/2011 7:57 AM Lee, I took that photo on 'bath day' last Fall. ...and I drove a 1991 Miata M Edition for a few years. Really great car. But I have owned Little British Cars for nearly 35 years, and as good as the Miata was, it was just missing something. Perhaps I just prefer a car that leaks, rusts, & breaks something every payday. Or perhaps I'm just an idiot.

I'm with you, Bill. If it didn't originate in Brittania, it just ain't really a sports car.

I miss my old MGA

I have a '84 HD Sportster. I love it. However, I haven't got on that since I bought my rig the other week. Right now, I'm really digging the new to me rig. (Goldwing 1500 with Hannigan 2+2)

I have a 1990 Goldwing SE with CSC Friendship III and a 1983 GL1100 Aspencade as a two wheeler. I have had the 1100 for over 17 years. Very hard to part with it. Still runs and handles great.

I drive a company truck most of the time. Just dropped off my 74 Guzzi at Doug Bingham's this morning. Having an American Spirit Eagle attached.
Was going to put it on one of the EVs but the old Eldorado was too perfect a match. I'm hoping with proper set up it will be a reasonable driver. That Watsonian beast in the picture is a bear to drive.
Here's the rest of the fleet.

If you're afraid you might miss two wheels maybe sidecaring is not for you, its definitely not for everybody! To answer your question I do have a pickup truck but it doesn't get driven very much.

Enjoy 2 wheeling too much not to have one. The sidecar is the stable one in the group and is the family favorite. Every couple of years, I change the 2 wheeled stablemates. So many motorcycles, so little time. Current 2 wheelers are HD Roadglide and BMW 1150 RTP.

My Troyka is my main ride, although the old '90 Nissan beater truck is a backup for me. So far, the Nissan has cost me more than the Ural ever has, but each has its purpose. The dogs love riding in both, but by far, love the Ural best. Me, I'm the same as they are on that thought. Our main car is actually a PT Cruiser, but I'd rather ride in the unairconditioned Nissan beater in the triple-digit Texas heat than ride in the PT Cruiser, myself.

Have a 99 GoldWing 1500 w/Champion Daytona, also have 08 HD Heritage Classic. Love the s/c rig, my wife and Bud (the dog) ride with me when I take it out. Cannt seem to get out of the yard with out Bud, he is the most serious rider Ive ever met. Took the Harley to Rolling Thunder last May. Love both machines but the s/c rig is by far the most fun.

Ride Safe
