Have 2 sidecar rigs and several(5++) 2 wheelers
Yup!
what I have as two wheelers are in the process of growing a third wheel(two more to go)
We have the sidecar and one car between the wife and I. In the winter the car does get more use, but the rig is handy in case the wife needs the car for something.
I only have the suzi on the road right now, ( my ol rice-burner'69 Honda, is in my basement bar) ..I have a quick release set-up and drop my hack in about 15 minutes ,..assembly in about 20 min,..other then creative handling with the dark-sider on the rear,...I only need the one unit,...however!,..I do miss my custom chopped Triumph now and then,..hehe crawf.
We have the wives road king with the hack, and I have a road glide. I love ridding both of them. ๐
Only have the Harley with a hack added over a year ago, bought the bike new in 08, just turned over 40,000 miles, 30 with only two wheels and 10 with the hack. To be honest I see a new/used bike in my future, the hard part is I canโt imagine it without a sidecarโฆโฆ..lol.

Two sidecar rigs, and one solo bike. No cars, no trucks, been this way for years.
Was also this way for a few years in the 79 to 83 years.
As my disabilities get worse, I may have to get a four wheeled vehicle and have it converted to hand controls.
At worst stage possibility, I may have to be chauffered.
So far the worst on my problems is the legs but already I am having some symptoms in hands and one arm.
Slow creeping paralisis really sucks. I am fighting it the best I can, yesterday I swam two thousand yards to help my circulation and resist muscle atrophy. It took me an hour and 15 minutes.

We have been a one car family for about four years. I work from home. My wife has a new job that requires travel 3 weeks a month. So I upgraded from a scooter to a sidecar rig I found on Craigs. I cannot imagine not having this set up ever again. Love it!
'05 FLHT with a early CSC Friendship added about 7-8 months ago and an custom '04 Night Train. Ride them about equally. I did't really like the Electra Glide until adding the sidecar!
I'm lucky enough to be able to have both a 2-wheeler & a sidecar rig, plus an old(ish) SUV for when I've got to carry other people's kids (or my folks) around. The bikes live in the garage though - the truck sits outside year-round now! I use the bike when I'm by myself & the sidecar when I've got my kid or wife with me, or I need to haul a bit of stuff from place to place. Planning on using the sidecar for rally season this year though. I've had some car-less periods in my life, but not since I got married & certainly not since my kid was born. The whole reason for the sidecar was as somebody else stated - she (now 9) loves to ride, but can't hack the all-day outing & falls asleep. Fine in a sidecar, but not at all safe on the back seat of a regular bike.

Aside from my Guzzi/Hannigan outfit, I've a Suzuki SV650, a Yamaha TW200...and my Midget.... Fun to be had with any of them.
Bill, looks like we think along the same lines: Aside from our sidecars, we have a BMW R850R, a Kawasaki KLX250 and a Mazda Miata. Fun to be had with any of them. But I don't have a "family" photo...yet.... ๐

Lee, I took that photo on 'bath day' last Fall.
...and I drove a 1991 Miata M Edition for a few years. Really great car. But I have owned Little British Cars for nearly 35 years, and as good as the Miata was, it was just missing something. Perhaps I just prefer a car that leaks, rusts, & breaks something every payday. Or perhaps I'm just an idiot.
