Help, German sidecar driver need HD Part number
Hi, I am a German sidecar driver with a Moto Guzzi Cali 1100i BJ 94. I got from a friend a HD fairing . It would have to be from an HD FLTCU 1991 . She was from Florida where he bought it in 1994 . I have the fairing mounted on my Moto Guzzi . Now the acrylic glass in front of the double headlights is broken and I do not get the part number in Germany . Can someone help me.
I would go or call the nearest dealer to see if they could help you.
I have a 1993 Tour Glide, and I do not have that cover on my bike. I also can't find it in my parts catalog or online. A very good source for part numbers is here http://www.shopronniesharleydavidson.com/oempartfinder.htm "Edit" (I found the number in an accessory catalog. See my posts below.)
Another forum you might ask your question on is www.roadglide.org "Edit" (I asked over there and got a few responses then I thought to look in the accessory catalog and found the number- see post below)
Here is another cover I found searching on roadglide.org http://www.ceebaileys.com/harley/fltr_hid_hdg.html Not exactly what you are looking for, looks like its glued directly to the headlights.
I found the part in a 1996 accessory catalog that I forgot I had. Its not listed in the parts book because it was sold as an accessory. Part number is 67742-87. The part name is FLT headlamp cover, it fits 1980-1996 Tour Glides. The catalog says this part number also includes a rubber channel, brackets and hardware. Good luck finding what you need. I am going to google the part and see if it is still available anywhere. I think it will be difficult to find a replacement. Most of the Tour Glides I have seen, including mine, do not have the cover.

Just as a by the by Gustafsson has a Tour Glide headlight cover listed on their website:

Good find, I will have to remember Gustafsson, they seem to have a lot of unusual/obsolete stuff available. Also a question to the original poster Guzziotti, what manufacturer and model is your sidecar? Thanks, Dave
