For learning purposes... What do you use for ballast?

Is it better to have a removable ballast? Incase someone wants a ride, then you can lighten the weight a bit so that the sidecar isn't too heavy.

I fly the car.......alot.
Helps me keep a feel for the thing.

Just a trunk full of "junk" for weight.

got to a tire shop and get some old wheel wieghts. They will give them to you. I have 75lbs of these in my Velorex.

Yeah, me too, a trunk full of junk. All accumulated naturally.

I didn't mean to have ballast, but I guess I do. Just don't ask me to catalog it!

I got about 70 pounds of wheel weights free. I found some litter bags at Walmart, bought three and put about 20 pounds in each, then taped the whole bag with duct tape. In addition, I have 20 pounds of tools duplicating my tool kit but good quality Craftsman. The 4 gallon fuel tank in the car, filled, finishes it up.
