Dilemma

What to do.. I hate selling things. I put heart and soul into building something then usually move on to the next shiny bling. I should just keep stuff but no room and now no way to replace money that is spent. Oh the Horror!! WTH happened to my bank account!! I sold my 1970 Mustang years ago to raise money so I could build a home shop thinking I could easily replace it.. I never have, Tearing up now. Not the usual, it was lowered, Koni Shocks, full suspension and engine mods. Tore up the Auto X courses, literally. Really tearing up now 🙂 Same with several motorcycles, just not using or no room to store them. My ST1300 Honda comes to mind which I gave away. More tears. So! Brings me to the dilemma.. My First GS rig, I just listed in the Rig for sale, Down below. I just don't use it any more.. Frankly, I like riding the LBS Overland rig more. Both perform really well and each does things better than the other in certain ways. Both fit me well. But given the choice I gravitate to the new rig. Plus now I am shopping and saving for new bling. So if that happens I need room. Already cleared out an old Honda Motorcycle that I really have no attachment too. That will help to clear space and get an un-finished Idea out of my way.
So do I try and sell the rig as whole. I really is a good package, designed and build by Brock and Pete Smith. Or do I part it out.. I have all the bits to put the tug back into a bike.. The Ural car and sub frame is good and will fit several years of BMW GS's The LBS leading link is still almost newish and probably worth a bunch to the right sidecarist.
Not being greedy here but just thinking I might get more, selling off the bits and pieces than if I sell it as a whole. Of course being in Canada that makes selling as a whole rig is even more difficult than in Jolly Old USA. No one has any idea what it takes. 🙂
What say all you guys ?
Maybe I just need a shoulder to cry on.. Or a swift kick in the butt

B-cryin, you could just ship this very well sorted sidecar rig to Heidelberg, Germany......or did I already suggest that in your other thread ?
Yes....yes I did, so it must be a great idea.

@miles-ladue That is an awesome idea except My dear wifey is not a traveller. Her heath issues and other reasons are making it worse. It would be a solo thing and I already do enough of that

With the volume of BMW GS bikes out there for sale, I think keeping the rig is a whole, makes it stand out.
A lead in picture that is really stunning, would do a lot. Especially on sites where potential buyers don't have much sidecar experience.
As someone who never owned a BMW before, my biggest concerns were maintenance, and durability modifications. I wanted to feel comfortable that I could get on the rig and go without breakdowns and the associated high cost of repair. My point in bringing that up is your level of mechanical experience and all you have done on this rig would be worth expounding on in the ad on other sites.
Hope this helps. Good luck on the sale.
Hold my keyboard and watch this! 🙃

Brian, the solution is obvious. Spend another $5,000+ on the old rig. Doesn't matter what you spend the money on; spend it on whatever tickles your fancy. That additional expenditures will make you fall in love with the rig again, at least for a couple of months.
