We tried one of these once, just far to slow, was "OK" at best once we did away with all of the gear reduction.
We have also used winch motors for reverse.

i'll let you know. I hope it beats making my wife trying to push 1,000 lbs for me.
6-7 meters a minute. good use for backing out of garage or a parking spot, very short distance only. not trying to set land speed record. going to mount between bike and tub. will pivot unit up when not using. going to use unistrut and spring nuts mounted between top of frame and bottom of tub will see very little mounting.....

GAVE UP FOR NOW. WILL WORK ON IT OVER THE WINTER. IS GOING TO TAKE SOME CREATIVE MOUNTING. PROBABLY HAVE TO WELD PLATE ON SIDECAR FRAME.
TRIED BOLTS AND UNISTRUT. MOTOR HAS TOO MUCH TORQUE AND TWISTS MOUNTING. IT WILL WORK BUT A STEEL PLATE WITH GUSSETS WILL HAVE TO BE WELDED ON.
