Archie suffered a ruptured tumor on his spleen yesterday morning. By late afternoon he slipped away. We'd taken him in to the Pet Emergency Clinic in Spokane when I saw his tongue and gums were very pale. That's where they made the diagnosis. They gave me a few poor options. Poor because none had a good outcome. We brought him home and made him comfortable. A few hours later he was gone. A part of me is gone. He was my best riding buddy and most loyal friend. There will never be another like him...

Sorry to hear about your loss. I know how you feel. A few years ago I had to have my 21 year old English Sheep dog put to sleep. I had him since he was a pup. It is hard.

We just added our sidecar in April of this year and our terrier M.C. loves riding in it. Part of our motivation in getting the sidecar was looking at the video of you and Archie riding together. We are so sorry that he is gone.

He will be with you each time you ride, that is how I feel with Nana who left us a year ago.

I am so sorry to hear about Archie. We had been thinking of a sidecar for our Murphy {our lab}. Read all about how you got Archie and how much he loved to ride this was very inspiring to us.So i guess in part of that, we decided we wanted Murphy to be as much part of our riding as Archiw was to you.We feel that we lost a friend here. Thank you everyone. About a month back we went to the rally in John Day Oregon. Had a great time and it turned out to be his last long ride and last rally. I'm sure glad we did that one...
