This thing is beautiful, Jesse James does wonders with anything dealing with motorcycles. He is a real artist.

That isn't a gas tank it's a tool box, the tank is in/under the car 🙂
Jesse only makes ridable bikes, the owner may turn it into a trailer queen but it a ridable TQ.

I found out it was built for Airstream to be shown at RV shows, etc., so it will probably be a trailer queen.

Jesse James is to be admired for his metal working skills. He is into it and was even before he got so famous.

Next year he will have a new show on Spike

One of the shows which has already been taped will see Jesse racing a Formula I sidecar at Willow Springs...keep an eye out for airing time..

His workmanship is impeccable for sure. As far as practicality, well, thats not the point. It's a rigid with no springs on the tub. It would be like riding a warehouse pallet. After ten miles, you'd have to stop. But it looks nice, I agree! I'd pay ten bucks to see Sandra Bullock after a hundred mile test ride in Jesse's rig. LOL.

Rigid suspnsion on the sidecar?! You mean just like a brand new HD. Horrors!
I am continually amazed at the silly asumptions people make. "YOu cna't go 1000 miles in one day and still enjoy it", "No one rides rigid bikes mroe than to the bar and back", "Sidecars are slow in the twisty curvy roads".
Mr. James built a gorgeous rig that looks like it Has a nice amount of wheel stagger. I"m betting he did all of his set-up homework before building the rig. He's a dyed in the wool gearhead.
No need for the 'crab-bucket' mentality folks.

My Harley sidecar must be unusual. It has springs on the tub. What's a crab bucket? Is that something they say in on the East Coast?

Springs under the tub is not suspension any more than the springs in your car seat are auto suspension. Your HD sidecar is not suspended any more than Mr james rig is.
Crab bucket mentality. Crab buckets need no lids, evry time a crab starts to crawl up and out, the other crabs grab them and drag them back down.
What I'm saying is, thre is no need to attack Mr. James build, it acomplishes nothing. Jesse James building a cool custom sidecar helps all sidecar enthusiasts.

Hi Lonnie. I think your comment about sums it up. It is nice mechanical art but rideable? No, not really.

Really,,,,in comparison to what,,,the new sidecar rigs and our pampered butts, the old timers where very happy to have just about what Jessie made, I personally wouldn't want to take it on a long run but for the Saturday night get together after a short run it would be just fine don't cha think 🙂
Look at it for what it is,,a work of art from a master craftsman,,,,,,BUT I still wonder how the Hel* he and Sandra ever got together tho, that's got to be a interesting story, beauty and the beast.
