There should be no doubt that the Membership person will allow you to renew, rather than start all over again. They can find your membership number. Once you get it, have it tattooed on.... someplace.
Then, do like I did, send them a check for the next 6 years of membership, and you are good to go until 2030.
Yes, they will allow you to do that.
