This is being posted on behalf of Paul Wharton whose declining health is forcing retirement from riding.  He can be contacted by email at pwharton1@bellsouth.net or by phone or text at 205-422-6669.

Asking Price $9900.

Details:

My rig consists of a 2002 BMW R1150RT with a Hannigan Super Sport sidecar added in the Spring of 2015. The bike is in meticulous condition and only has 35K miles on it. Most of those miles were long-distance trips from Alabama (my previous home) and Wisconsin (where I now live) out west to Wyoming and Montana. As I mentioned, the bike was in storage during .the five years I was in Afghanistan prior to my adding the sidecar. The bike has a BMW topbox and side panniers, ABS brakes, a Russel All-Day saddle, an upgraded windshield, a radio, heated hand grips, and a GPS. The front end has been modified to improve handling.

The sidecar has disk brakes, can be tilted up and down on the fly for ease of handling depending on road conditions, has ground effects in the front, and a spoiler on the large trunk. It also comes with two convertible covers. The sidecar also has an accessory plug and a seatbelt. It is color-matched to the bike. Both the bike and the rig have always been maintained by professionals and kept in a heated garage during the winter on a battery tender.

Personal note: The setup and condition of this rig are a smoking deal.  Someone please jump on this and make a retired veteran's day just a little better!
