OK, I found a BT-45 and it's on order.

OK from looking at other sites it looks like a BT-46 is a good choice. Also since the tire has been upgraded it no longer needs to be mounted reversed...

Struts arrived and I installed them yesterday... What a pleasure not having to prop the top up with a broom stick. Now that my fingers wont get crus...

Al, new struts are the same Manufacturer and part #. Hopefully they have not changed since 2005.

OK I got the Strut answer. Pretty easy 2 for $30 on Amazon.

Nice looking rig. I especially like the idea of the door. Saves the doggies from a jump.
