On my 2005 GW CSC rig when I got it was a Michelin Pilot Activ rear tire mounted on the front. Car tire on the rear.

It's now time for a replacement as the tire is cupping badly.

Why should I go Darkside again?  I like the Bridgestone 709 I have on my 2006 Solo GW.

OK from looking at other sites it looks like a BT-46 is a good choice. Also since the tire has been upgraded it no longer needs to be mounted reversed.

BT, I mounted a BT-46 on the front on my Triumph rig after the BT-45 was discontinued. Was very happy with the BT-45 on a Goldwing rig several years back.

So far the 46 seems to be working out as expected. As for reverse mounting or not, there seems to be a lot of varying opinions on that, not sure it makes a huge difference in the end. Do what you are comfortable with.

OK, I found a BT-45 and it's on order.
