OH lord, yep would not be able to enjoy them....much.

I'm European born and raised, so very familiar with such delicacies just under other various names.

Oh, no...there are no former Europeans living in...ALABAMA....cannot be true.

And, a Stroopwaffle is called a Stroopwaffle, in any language.

Everything else is just an imitation.

We spent 5 months (in total) all over Western Europe last year, and everywhere we found Stroopwaffles, they were called...Stroopwaffles.

It's an International Delicacy Eat

The Dutch would declare war....war I say....on any nation that called their National treat anything other than a Stroopwaffle.

Military father ended up here in the late  60's, then passed in the 70's. FUll blooded german mom moved to VA to be close to dads family there, where she stayed until she passed a few years back. I lived in VA for a while, but for the most part have lived in AL most of my life. Wife and I have a home in the Smoky mtns of NC that we might eventually move to when she finally retires....But yep, back woods Hillbilly Europeans all over.

Morning Mike

Steve Ives here welcome to the nut house. Seems you will fit in very well, Motorbikes and sidecars are a bit different are a bit different, the riders as well! Honda Goldwings were my reintroduction to outfits a well, a disability from day one meant two wheels were out of the question. I currently ride and utterly enjoy a 2015 Goldwing GL1800 and Hannigan chair stolen from Miles in the early part of the year. If you look at the picture you can see the modified footrest that allows me to get my leg over =)

Steve, thanks for the welcome.

Oh yeah, quite different from 2 wheels, but having been a three wheeler and quad rider many years ago, I fell into the trike part fairly quickly. I also own a 2009 GL1800 Roadsmith. As for the SC rig, Ive only ridden it 2-3 times trying out my design,  and to me its just not that much different than the trike. Im still in the overall building phases of it, so its back in the shop torn down again. I went this route to see which one I would like best for my long distance traveling that I still like to do. I do still ride 2 wheels, but only on smaller bikes. We have a small Corgi that has traveled with me everywhere since he was 10 weeks old, loves to travel. Will sit still on the back of my trike or in the side seat in the sxs, (around our property nothing open road yet) so hoping he will also take to the sidecar. We have a 2nd home about 360 miles north of us that I go to about every 6 weeks, would like to be able to make that trip a few times a year and take him with me....time will tell.

Nice looking rig yours, from what I can tell.

Steve, mi Amigo,  for the 10th time....it's a Champion Escort....not a California Escort.  California sidecars were the Friendship,  Friendship ll, and the very popular Friendship lll.

You do this again,  and Cy will be living at my ranch Razz
