Text Editor Demonstration

This is a screen shot from my laptop.Β Note where files uploaded it shows 32MB on my screen.Β Probably because I'm special...
On a side note:Β Couple of features I just tried, successfully:
Used the cell phone (Chrome on an Android) to edit my initial post on the R1100 GS build adding a 6MB picture.Β Very fast for rural cell tower.Β
Opened the picture viewer by clicking on a picture in that post.Β All pictures show up in forum formatted size.Β
Right clicked on the 6MB picture, selected Open in new window.Β Picture now opens up larger, and enlarges to the full size as taken by the camera.Β
That feature to see the original picture in full size is helpful when trying to make out details.Β So cool to see this forum software supports it.Β Not all do. 🤩Β
Added the screen shot at the bottom of this post.Β Then went into edit feature, and drag/dropped to below first sentence.Β Very easy to do.
Hold my keyboard and watch this! π

Better behavior today, though for some reason when I first logged into the test forum this morning, it was very slow, links didn't link and I had to shut it down, then reopen.Β Working OK now, though it is slower than I'm used to for most forums.Β That is likely due to our server limitations.

Oooh!Β That's interesting!
Instead of clicking on Leave A Reply, I clicked on the blue "reply" link in Thane's post.Β My reply then got "nested" inside Thanes post.
Never seen that before in any of the modern forums I'm on.Β I think I like it.Β But I'm sure it'll confuse some users who may end up replying INSIDE a post that's way back in the beginning of a thread, instead of adding their reply to the end of the thread.

@ned Yes, a little confusing if not what one is expecting.Β Not sure if the "->Reply" can be made distinct from the Major Reply, but helpful to nest actual related posts.
Illegitemi non carborundum est!

OK I can see that as being a good and bad thing. good as it can nest post or comments together that pertains to a pedicular statement, however once the post moves forward a little if someone saw it and added their thoughts to it you might not ever see it as by design the thread takes you to the last post automatically and many would miss it altogether unless they went back. probably not an issue, just an observationΒ Β

If you look at the Home right side panel, it shows the most current activity in a thread even if it is a Reply somewhere in a thread. and not a new post.
Ace replied at 2:48 pm to Thane and I replied to Ace at 5:16 pm. In the right panel it shows my reply as the latest activity even though Ace posted a new comment, not a reply, Β at 2:55 pm.
Β

I tried looking at the thread activity on this thread and took this screenshot ---->
My feeling is that this is a coding relic from an archaic style used in early web forums.Β I think it's confusing.Β I prefer the simple listing of posts in chronological order.Β Like our current forum or like Adventure Rider.
