I need a new rear tire on this sidecar rig (Hannigan Dual Sport). I'm having trouble getting a replacement Achilles Economist (Fedex woes). In the meantime, if I wanted to put a motorcycle tire on the rear, what is recommended for this bike with sidecar?

I don't have a R1200RT, but run motorcycle tires on my airhead rig. In my view what you want is one of the newer tires with the harder center tread portion or if you are running bias ply then one of the reinforced tires that they make for heavier loaded bikes. If you don't get an answer from somebody that has your set up or experience with your set up then check the hack section under adventure rider.
