Iam interested in getting any feedback from those who have used the Vmax/sidecar set up.
I know that this is a muscle bike with lots of power, and I want to get more info before building a rig.
Thanks

Try contacting Piero Bassi via this site. Go to users and find his name (he should be on page 16 or 17), there is a link to send private e-mail. Piero has a Vmax rig.

We just mounted a new Kenna on the V max. It worked out great.

Picking up this thread again, is anybody able to offer any advice with setting up a Vmax sidecar rig?

Depends upon what hack you are mounting.

Here is a V-Max/563Tour rig we set up recently.

Awesome guys thanks. Particularly like the leading link set up on Piero's one although my setup will be more like Hak'ns one. Was there any tricks with securing the clamps to the bike frame?

I would avoid using "universal" type frame clamps if at all possible. If you do use them, use them only on the top and make sure that the forces going into the clamp are in line with the frame tubes not tying to rotate the clamp around the frame. You have a bike with lots of power, you should be mounting a strong heavy sidecar on it and as such the mounts have a lot of work to do. They must be done right and safe.
