Hey you guys, help me out.

I'm looking for contact info for the guy that makes wheels that will fit your bike so you can run a car tire on the rear.
Can't find the info and feeling pretty stupid about it.

Thanks,

Tom

If all goes well We will be coming out with a new wheel conversion over the winter. This system should be available for almost any bike. There will be NO WELDING done on these wheels. We hope to offer a steel wheel with an aluminum hub portion as an option to an aluminum wheel with aluminum hub.
We rethought the idea of doing a one piece billet wheel as it would be a shame if a rim happened to get damaged as it would essentially mean scraping the whole wheel. With the two piece design the initial cost will be a little less and if the rim was ever damaged only that part of the assembly would have to be replaced. Pricing on both designs is not final at this time.
Up until now we have done well over 30 rear wheel conversions for the earlier BMW single sided swingarm systems. These typically are built to run the popular 165r15 tires although we have done wider conversions for up to a 205/55x15 tire. The rigs with the 165 tires are reporting around 20,000 miles per tire which is nto too shabby for a 60 dollar tire on a sidecar outfit.
The later model BMWs, where the brake rotor bolts to the wheel, are also available through us but are made by 'Advantage Wheels'.
I think Dauntless has also just come out with a wheel conversion for the 1200 BMW GS bikes.
Feel free to email or call with questions.
