Wheel Bearings for Ural Sidecar
I have 1999 Ural sidecar attached to 1981 Honda CX. The wheel bearings in the sidecar wheel are bad, but have no markings or numbers. Is there some one out there that has swapped these Russian made bearings to others. If so what numbers do I need. Look to be just over the counter roller bearings.
Thanks Ken
Take them to a bearing supply and they will fix you up with correct bearings.

Bearings are bearings. Any Bearing Supply can match RPM, Load, grease or oil ratings. Take in an original and put it on the counter and say....... gimmme.

They are undoubtedly metric. You can easily measure them if you have them out of the wheel. ID, OD and Width are all you will need. It's likely that you can find them either on eBay or online from one of the many bearing suppliers. You would need to discover whether they are roller or ball bearings and whether they are sealed or open. Other than that, it shouldn't be difficult to locate them.
Ken, Ural went to a modern sealed bearing a couple of years ago and good quality refit kits are available by mail order from any of the quality dealers.
Try Crawford Sales in Michigan, Heindl in Ohio, Holopaw Ural in Florida, Tri-Quest in California or Raceway in Oregon.
The old bearings required careful adjustment, the new ones do not.
