TRAIL
QUESTION ........does raising front end..... such as a bigger tire...increase trail or decrease trail?? I understand that installing raked trees increases trail to make steering easier? ....or is it the other way around? Duh!!
I want to put bigger tire on front wheel..... but not make steering heavier with the raked trees I installed !!!
Stay safe out there..............Mike..........
Just a bigger tire is not going to make an appreciable difference in handling.
If one went to a 21" whee/tirel combo instead of a 16" there would be a slight difference, but at the cost of loss of traction due to a small tire footprint.

Probably not. Of course more rubber on the ground may make steering effort different at low parking lot speeds. Bottom line? Go for it anyheo you will be fine.

Claude,
You just solved the problem with your last three words. Modified triple trees.
That puts it right there, not up in the frome neck. If more people started using that term then it would be cleared up sooner.
Have a good day, mrmustash
