spyder shock?
I read before that some guys are using a standard harley shock as a replacement. the shock eyelets on the factory spyder shocks are 90degrees to each other and the harley shocks are not. My question is can you just rotate the eyelet 90degrees on the different length harley shocks? Looking to get a matching dyna shock and dont want to waste my money if i cant rotate the eyelet 90 degrees without it snapping. Any cons of putting a shorter shock on the sidecar besides ride quality? Been reading alot on this site over the past year before joining today! Any/all help is appreciated from this newbie. Thanks!
They can be rotated to any degree you wish. I liked using the Monroe 500 Magnum air shocks on my last Spyder for load adjustment capability.
