I drive a Yamaha FJ 1100(1984) with a Kenna sidecar bought from Lonnie Cook. - Does anybody have information on oilcoolers, thermostats etc?.
All the new technologie takes some getting used to.I used to ride and occasionally race sidecars in Germany in the early(Zundapp,BMW ,NSU etc).

hey Storch
I had to put an oil cooler on my Indian because I was running too hot
You can buy a filler cap temp gage to keep tabs on the temp
It made a lot of difference in my temps

I bought the largest one they had in JP Cycle book and hooked it up thru the oil filter (screw on type) adapter also in catalogue. They also have an LED readout gage thats works as a oil bag cap. They had a few different types. Some say that oil cooler only works when moving and does nothing when stopped but remember that before you stop your oil is cooler that it would have been had you not had it. Works for me.....
